How to use the team builder
Pick your population cap tier, then click unit cards to fill slots. Toggle mutations on each slot to see DPS, altar cost, and Boss HP inherit update live. The share link encodes your lineup so you can compare builds with friends or revisit after a skill-tree upgrade.
Build tips
- Early game (3–7 slots): one guard (Bone Grunt), one ranged (Skeleton Archer), and a cheap support. Stay under cap — over-slotting blocks deployment.
- Mid game (7–15 slots): unlock Population IV and add A-tier DPS like Cursed Acolyte or Epic carries. Cover melee + ranged + at least one AOE role before chasing mutations.
- Late game (15–35 slots): stack high-DPS legendaries within cap, roll Demonic on your carry, and check altar cost before committing Souls. Compare with the Tier List and Unit Value Calculator.

What population cap should I pick?
Match your current skill-tree unlocks: Base 3 at start, 7 after Population II, 15 after Population IV. Max 35 is the believed endgame cap — use it only if you have every population node unlocked.
How is team DPS calculated?
Each unit contributes ATK × SPD × mutation multiplier. Ability effects, splash damage, and boss-targeting are not modeled — treat the number as a rough comparison between lineups.
Can I add the same unit twice?
Yes. Click the same roster card multiple times to stack duplicates — useful for early Bone Grunt walls or late-game legendary spam within your population cap.
What does Boss HP inherit mean?
Your Boss inherits 5% of total team HP with Boss Health I and 15% with Boss Health II from the skill tree. Higher team HP means you survive longer on the throne during hero waves.
How do I share my team build?
Click Copy Link after adding units. The URL includes your lineup and mutation picks — paste it in Discord or bookmark it to reload the same team later.
