Build Tips

Its Soul Mark passive stacks +3% ATK per kill up to 20 stacks and carries across waves, so it does become respectable DPS eventually. The problem is the buffs themselves — both the numbers and the range fall short of other supports, making it a poor Legendary investment.

Support Tips

  • Support auras stack with guards and melee — one support can buff an entire frontline row.
  • Cursed Acolyte is the first two-slot support worth saving for once Population II unlocks.
  • Supports rarely need Demonic mutation to earn their slot — base stats and aura effects carry most of the value.

Active Ability

Soul Harvest

Up to 2 allies gain +12% ATK, +8% CRIT for 7s. Range 10.

Passives

Soul Mark

On kill: Gain +3% ATK (max 20; persists between waves).

Passives

Aura

Allies in range 12: +3% CRIT.

Unit FAQ

Do mutations change this unit's abilities?

No. Mutations only multiply ATK and HP — active abilities, passives, and Range stay the same. A Cursed or Demonic copy hits harder and survives longer but keeps the same skill set. See the mutation variant table above for exact numbers.

What does population Cost mean on the unit card?

Population Cost is the number of slots this minion consumes when deployed. Your total slots come from Skill Tree nodes like Population I and II. A two-slot support like Cursed Acolyte needs Population II unlocked before you can field it.

When should I spend Souls on this unit?

Spend Souls on units already in your active layout — not bench picks. Cheap starters (1–10 Souls) are fine to buy directly. For expensive units, batch mutation rolls during Cursed Moon when odds double, and compare DPS per population Cost in the Unit Value Calculator before committing.
