Blood Gargoyle
Build Tips
A serviceable damage sponge for unlocking checkpoints before Mighty Orc. Stone Blood deals 200% ATK with 55% lifesteal, but Blood Mend only heals when he is being hit — a much less reliable trigger than Mighty Orc's timer-based regen.

Guard Tips
- Place guards at the front of your layout so heroes focus them before reaching ranged units.
- Pair a guard with ranged DPS behind — the frontline buys time while archers deal damage.
- Early-game guards at 1–2 population Cost often beat unmutated Epics — mutation rolls can wait until mid-game.
Active Ability
Stone Blood
Deal 200% ATK damage with 55% lifesteal.
Passives
Blood Mend
When taking damage: Restore 5 HP + 2% max HP (0.5s cooldown).

Unit FAQ
Do mutations change this unit's abilities?
No. Mutations only multiply ATK and HP — active abilities, passives, and Range stay the same. A Cursed or Demonic copy hits harder and survives longer but keeps the same skill set. See the mutation variant table above for exact numbers.
What does population Cost mean on the unit card?
Population Cost is the number of slots this minion consumes when deployed. Your total slots come from Skill Tree nodes like Population I and II. A two-slot support like Cursed Acolyte needs Population II unlocked before you can field it.
When should I spend Souls on this unit?
Spend Souls on units already in your active layout — not bench picks. Cheap starters (1–10 Souls) are fine to buy directly. For expensive units, batch mutation rolls during Cursed Moon when odds double, and compare DPS per population Cost in the Unit Value Calculator before committing.
